You will no doubt have seen the donate panel and the advertising down the right hand side of the website. We all know times are tough. It takes time and alot of money to keep a site like huttweather.co.nz up and available24 hours a day. We receive excellent support from our hosting partner OnTheInternet.co.nz, and as a result we have managed to keep donation requests and advertising off the site.

Over the years we have upgraded many of the parts that go together to get the website online - new computers, replacement parts for the station as they break, power to keep the site going 24 hours a day, and this cost has all been bourne by the webmaster. We are about to undergo another significant and exciting upgrade to the site (more on this shortly), and as a result we considered it was appropriate to put up a request for donations and support.

There are several ways that you can help us out if you like the site and visit regularly:

(a) we really like cold hard cash  ;-) Please feel free to use the donation button on the right hand side panel, and utilise Paypal to send us a small donation securely.

(b) Visit one of the advertisers on the site

(c) Drop us a note and let us know how you use the site. Even better, let the world know by using our guestbook. This keeps us motivated to continually add new features to the website, and more information, based on the feedback you give us.

(d) Tell your friends and family about us - maybe they too will do one of the above ;-)
