Despite our reputation of being one of the windiest places in the country, we do get our fair share of fog. This photo was taken on the 29th July 2006 after fog formed over land in the Hutt Valley (note that the large patch out to the sea (right) is clear). In this case the fog didn't fill in to our height, so we were left with an extraordinary view into the valley as the city lights were reflected amongst the cloud.
